Mark Dmytryshyn, Cabinet Shop Manager
With 35 years of experience in the custom home interiors industry—and over a decade dedicated to custom home cabinetry—Mark is the driving force behind our cabinet shop. He built the shop from the ground up, assembling the skilled team that makes Cox Patterson Home Cabinetry what it is today.
Mark’s unique talent lies in his ability to seamlessly coordinate every aspect of a project. From aligning the client and designer’s vision to collaborating with contractors, craftsmen, and installers, he ensures every detail comes together to create stunning, functional cabinetry.
Father of six and now grandfather of four, he has the experience to manage a team.

Matthew Butterworth, Cabinet Specialist
With seven years of experience on our team, Matt is a cornerstone of our operation. His journey in cabinetry began with a hands-on apprenticeship under a master cabinetmaker, followed by three years of focused study at Conestoga College, where he earned his Red Seal Cabinetmaker designation.
Matt’s diverse background spans reproduction furniture, commercial cabinetry, and home renovations. Since 2018, he has specialized in designing and crafting custom kitchens and home cabinetry, combining technical expertise with a passion for creativity.
Known for his exceptional work ethic and attention to detail, Matt approaches every project with purpose and dedication. He thrives on bringing clients' visions to life, ensuring each piece reflects both quality craftsmanship and personalized design.

Michael Dmytryshyn, Cabinetmaker
Born and raised in the Ottawa Valley, Michael brings eight years of experience in construction-related work to the team, including the last five years as a valued member of Cox Patterson Home Cabinetry. He trained under a Red Seal Cabinetmaker, honing his skills and developing a deep understanding of quality craftsmanship.
Outside of work, Michael is a passionate car enthusiast and enjoys playing music, bringing creativity and precision to both his hobbies and his craft.

Clancy Hansen, Cabinetmaker
Clancy grew up in the Ottawa valley refining his skills doing boatbuilding and repairing instruments with his father, cabinetmaker Mike Hansen. Working first with his family's business and now in his 7th year with Cox Patterson Home Cabinetry he has over 2 decades of experience in cabinetry.
In between projects he and his wife enjoy travelling the world and trying new things. Skiing, snowboarding, hiking or doing anything outdoors is where you might find them on a day off. With diverse skills in cabinetry and fine furniture manufacturing, as well as expertise in installation and on-site finishing, Clancy is a valued member of the team.

Nathanael Renaud, Cabinetmaker
With nine years of experience in construction, Nathanael has worked across a variety of fields, from new builds to renovations. For the past two years, he has specialized in custom cabinetry, combining his broad expertise with a passion for precision and innovation.
Nathanael is fully bilingual in French and English, ensuring seamless communication with clients and team members alike. Outside of work, he’s a beer league hockey goalie and stays actively engaged in learning the latest tools and techniques in the cabinetry industry.

Kilian Beythien, Cabinetmaker
Kilian grew up on a dairy farm in the Ottawa area, where he developed a strong work ethic and an appreciation for craftsmanship early on. He graduated with honours from Algonquin College's Cabinetry and Furniture Making program and showcased his skills at the Provincial Skills Competition, earning a 5th-place finish.
Before joining Cox Patterson Home Cabinetry, Kilian gained five years of experience in commercial millwork and cabinetry, refining his craft and building a solid foundation in the trade.
Kilian brings his dedication, precision, and passion for quality craftsmanship to every project, helping to bring clients’ visions to life with skill and care.

Karen Jackson, Office Manager
Karen brings nearly two decades of experience working alongside the Cox Patterson Home Cabinetry Team, earning a reputation for reliability, dedication, and professionalism. Originally from Goose Bay, Labrador, Karen moved to the Ottawa area in 1992, where she has built a life rooted in community and family.
As a proud wife and mother, Karen understands the importance of creating spaces that feel like home. Her long-standing commitment to Cox Patterson Home Cabinetry reflects her passion for overcoming challenges and contributing to the company’s success. Clients and colleagues alike trust Karen for her expertise, attention to detail, and unwavering dedication to ensuring that every project runs smoothly.
